It's a BOY!
I think the designers have outdone themselves when they created these 3 rustic stag boy baby shower invitations.
In fact, I think, if you like one of these, you're going to fall in LOVE with all three. This will definitely make it hard to decide which one you want to use for the little buck's baby shower... but in a good way.

The third featured design has the same gray antlers and floral bough as the second one I showed you but this one was created without the chalk board and is simply set against the white plank wood. GORGEOUS! No?
These rustic baby shower invites can be used at any time of the year but for some reason, and even though they have flowers on them, I think they'd be really appreciated during the fall and winter.

I just received the April 2014 edition of Martha Stewart Living and low and behold, she was featuring an adorable baby shower idea that I just had to share with you.
The theme is called A Babe in the Woods and it features sweet but sophisticated whimsical woodland animals and critters of all sorts.
In true Martha style, in the article, she's created a magical combination of cute cookies, cakes, food, table decorations and favor ideas.
It truly is an amazing idea for a fun spring or fall baby shower for a modern mommy to be. It's adorably cute without being over the top cutsie.
I fell so in love with the idea that I went ahead and created a new Pinterest board at Seasonal Showers for it where I'm busy pinning everything in sight with adorable baby animals on it.

Ideas for a Fall Pumpkin Theme Baby Shower
Serve pumpkin pie and pumpkin-flavored coffee. Decorate the pumpkin flavored cake as a Jack O'Lantern.
Use several real pumpkins in various sizes for your centerpiece. Cut the top off of one to create a holder for a small vase of autumn flowers and your table will look great.
A large pumpkin with the top cut off can also be used as a cooler when filled with ice and soft drinks.
It's easy to find all kinds of Autumn decorations in your local craft stores at this time of year that would work well for the party and be completely reusable during the entire season to decorate your home. Think wreaths, banners, vases and other inexpensive decorative items.
Of course your colors will be orange, brown, gold and green so any paper goods should be purchased in your favorite shade of those hues.
There are also many different types of recipes that call for fresh or canned pumpkin that you can put on the menu such as pumpkin soup, ravioli, cookies and salad.

The History of Bridal Showers
Did you know that the custom of throwing a bridal shower dates back to the time when dowries were popular? Friends of the woman to be wed began giving what is now known as a bridal shower to compensate women who came from poor families who couldn't afford a proper dowry, or for a woman whose father didn't approve of the marriage and refused to pay.
